MAV
Solo Electronic music project by Manuel Valverde
MAV is an experimental electronic music project founded in 2020, born from a desire to explore another dimension of the composer’s work through music created exclusively with electronic means. The project draws on the procedures, techniques, and aesthetics of electronic music and its various subgenres.
Its music reflects echoes and influences from a wide range of aesthetic currents, focusing on the exploration of texture, space, and form as fundamental elements in the conception and development of each piece.
The debut studio album was released in 2021 through the Argentine label Isla Vision, and a second album is now ready for release.

LIVE SET
Following the release of the album, MAV developed a live set that combines material from the record with new music performed live.
The live set offers an immersive experience in which sound and visual art are conceived as interconnected elements. Each performance features original visuals created specifically for the occasion, resulting in an interdisciplinary work where the musical and visual dimensions inform and respond to one another in a continuous dialogue.
The live set was presented in 2021 at venues including the Electronic Arts Laboratory of Tecnópolis and NEU Kulturhaus in Buenos Aires, Argentina; in Bern, Switzerland, with the support of Pro Helvetia; and at the Planetarium of Montevideo, Uruguay.
