The composition took shape first in Basel, and later in Buenos Aires during 2022 and 2023. The main motivation does not come from any compositional procedure or prior research, but rather from a sonic imaginary.

The idea of establishing a sonic "atmosphere," from which an immersive and continuous listening experience could unfold, was the central compositional engine of the piece. This atmosphere is formed through the symbiosis of electronic and instrumental sound: the electronics do not function as an extension of the flute's sound, but rather the flute is integrated as one more layer within the electronic envelope.
